Altron’s leadership team prides itself on maintaining and nurturing direct relationships with our clients; responding quickly and decisively to our clients’ needs. Our leaders are backed by a senior management team comprised of accomplished executives with well over 20 years of leadership experience working with small businesses, large businesses, and the federal government. Together, they are responsible for the growth and continued success of Altron, as well as maintaining professional and courteous relationships with our clients and partners.

Mike Gercken
President
Mike serves as President of Altron and brings a wealth of experience and clear vision to his role. He provides both strategic and operational oversight over Altron’s business areas. Mike previously served as Vice President of Altron, joining the company in 2009 when Altron merged with Provident Analysis Corporation (PAC), an IT solutions and services firm Mike co-founded. Mike has over 35 years of experience in pioneering and developing engineering and technology solutions for government and commercial clients. He has been involved in all aspects of software and systems engineering, including research and development, enterprise architecture planning, applications development, tactical systems development, and commercial system development. Mike holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, as well as an M.S. in Computer Science and a Certificate in Software Systems Engineering from George Mason University.

Mike Zaramba
Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer
Mike is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Financial Officer for Altron. In this role, he provides strategic planning for the company while overseeing all corporate support functions including accounting, finance, budgeting, treasury, human resources, risk management, IT, contracts, purchasing and compliance. Mike is a senior-level executive with over 30 years of experience in fast-growing service company environments. He has held multiple leadership roles in finance, accounting, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, operations, human resources, risk management, and compliance. Mike is the owner and founder of Halyard Associates. Halyard offers financial strategy and consulting services to mid-market firms nationwide. Among other positions, Mike previously served as CFO for Pragmatics, Inc., a $200M software engineering and services provider to various agencies of the federal government. He was also one of the key contributors in the growth and maturation of Stanley, Inc. (NYSE:SXE), helping build the business from a $10M/year services firm to a $400M international enterprise culminating in a highly successful initial public offering in October 2006. During his 15-year tenure at Stanley, Mike served as CFO, CSO, and on the Executive Committee. In 2007, Stanley was recognized as one of the 100 best places to work by FORBES magazine. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in management/industrial engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Finance from the Smith School at the University of Maryland.

Brad Brisson
Vice President of Finance and
Professional Services
Brad began his career with Altron in 2005 as a Processing Manager at the Charleston Passport Center and was promoted to the corporate office in 2007 as Operations Manager. Brad also serves as Altron’s Facility Security Officer to ensure compliance with our U.S. Government customers’ security requirements and performs program management duties for several of Altron’s contracts. Brad holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Citadel. He was awarded his certification as a Project Management Professional in 2009.

Carter Bradshaw
Vice President of Engineering and Technology Solutions
Carter Bradshaw serves as Vice President of Engineering and Technology Solutions for Altron. In this role, he oversees the company’s engineering focus, ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects, and aligning engineering efforts with the company's strategic goals to provide innovative solutions for our customers. He keeps abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to improve Altron’s engineering processes and products. Carter brings over 30 years of exceptional experience in systems and software engineering, architecture, and solution delivery to this role. Previously, he successfully led Altron's Technology Solutions business unit, demonstrating outstanding leadership, vision and customer focus. Prior to joining Altron in 2009, Carter served as senior software engineer for Provident Analysis Corporation (PAC). While at PAC, he performed as lead developer while supervising development staff and coordinating with the project management team — all while interfacing with multiple government entities to ensure mission requirements and timelines were met. Carter holds a master's degree in computer science from George Mason University, and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Virginia Tech University.
