In FY2020, the 24 legacy GSA Schedules were consolidated into a single Schedule, broken into 12 large categories. GSA’s new single Schedule features a simplified format with streamlined terms and conditions, new large categories and sub-categories, and updated Special Item Numbers (SIN) that make it easier for contractors to offer, and agency partners to buy, products, services, and solutions. The GSA Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) Program is used by businesses and organizations interested in selling products and services to government agencies through the General Services Administration. Each GSA MAS contract is issued for a five-year initial period, with three five-year option periods, for a total of a 20-year contract life. The GSA Schedule program can be seen as a long-term relationship with federal agencies, with contracts lasting up to 20 years.
